"An agent from State Farm insurance contacted me by texts and phone calls as I was looking for home and auto insurance online a few weeks ago. I had a great experience when I spoke to the agent on the phone. The type was patient, courteous and demonstrated good customer service skill. He took time to check all possible quotes according to what I felt I can afford, made the best possible suggestions and advices. I feel that I was offered a very good and affordable coverage for both, my home and my car. I had auto insurance with State Farm before (2019 to 2023). I ended the insurance because I wanted to add the car to my home insurance. I returned to this company because I feel the service was always great, and the agents provide exceptionnel service. I would gladly recommend State Farm to anyone who is looking for Insurance coverage."

"Absolutely fantastic staff. They've helped me with whatever I needed, especially with the switch from a different car insurance company. They also helped us to find ways to keep my family's cost down. They even went above and beyond by helping my son and I get a claim for his totaled car moving - often checking up when we hadn't heard anything. "I just recently changed insurance companies after many years now. State Farm not only beat the price of My old insurance company, but they also told me about all of the discounts. "Moving from another country to study, I found the insurance system to be an enigma and a source of severe stress. I was fortunate to connect with Shane Dekle, to whom I expressed my lack of understanding and nervousness. I asked for his honest opinion on both renter's and car insurance as if he were in my position. "Tharsis is a knowledgeable and attentive agent. He explains everything clearly and doesn't push you to opt in for anything you wouldn't need. The only downside with State Farm is that you can't really get a quote online, but in a way, it actually helps you understand your policy better because you have to speak to an agent. I also appreciate that Tharsis does and will return your call. I was initially assigned with another State Farm office but they never reached out for the entire week. I eventually had to find another office, and doing business here was efficient and helpful."

"I am amazed that they remain in business to be honest, although I suppose they have excellent professional liability and errors & omissions insurance. During my time in Athens, I had two claims: one on my house and one on my car. Any time I called this office for questions, I was flabbergasted. At best, my questions were answered with, "I don't know" when they should have been answered with "I don't know but let me find out for you." At worst, my questions were answered agreeing with whatever I stated, even when incorrect. Even if you suggest conflicting questions such as, "If a car side-swiped me out of the parking lot, that car would be liable right?" Them: "Mmmhmm, definitely!" followed by "I was probably parked over the yellow parking lines, making me liable, right?" Them: "That makes sense!" This State Farm agency is the only one I have experience with from my time living in Georgia. They are not the only insurance agency I have experience with otherwise. My grandparents actually owned an insurance brokerage that had been in the family for over 100 years old when they finally decided to close it. I always witnessed our agents and staff either answering questions (with an understanding of policy terms, liability, etc.) or taking down contact information to return the call once they found out the answer. Bottom line: don't bother asking questions of this agency. They will either lie or, if you're lucky, state that they don't know the answer (and can't be bothered to do any homework)."

While we acknowledge that we may not always have immediate answers to every question, it is always our practice to either find the correct information or connect clients with the appropriate claims specialists with State Farm Corporate. I personally know our team members well, including the colleague dedicated to conversations on claims, and I find it hard to believe that anyone here would knowingly provide misleading information or dismiss a customer’s concerns. That said, your feedback is important to us, and I would appreciate the chance to learn more about your interactions so we can address any gaps and ensure this does not happen.
